So you really think you know?
Not really. How can I capture what is beautiful to you if I don't know what it means to me?

17 Digital Character Painting Tutorials

These are my 3 favorites. It’s really interesting to see the different methods and styles of painting by different artists. Making of Lida was especially interesting because he starts with an illustrator(ish) vector looking sketch. I’m not sure if it is really vector though. You’ll see what I mean. And starts with a black and white under painting before applying the color. Marta Dahlig is a more traditional oil style painting, where as Artgerm brings the anime style to a different level. I really love all of there different methods.
